Thermo‑Coll: Thin‑Layer Thermal Insulation for Modern Buildings
Rising ambient temperatures and stringent energy codes demand materials that guarantee indoor comfort while minimising energy use. Thermo‑Coll meets this challenge with an aerogel‑based formulation offering one of the lowest thermal conductivities on the market (λ = 0.018 W/mK), creating an effective “thermal jacket” in a few millimetres.
What is Thermo‑Coll?
Thermo‑Coll is a pre‑blended thermal insulating skim coat made of aerogel and water‑based polymer binders. Thanks to its nanoporous structure, it forms a continuous thermal barrier that blocks solar heat gains and improves building energy performance with minimal added thickness.
